A commitment to social justice is an essential characteristic of a life lived according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Catholic faith calls us to work for justice, serve those in need, pursue peace and work toward the full realisation of the dignity and rights of our sisters and brothers around the world.
The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle has many groups which exist to bring about a more just and compassionate society.
