A Hunter Community Alliance

The Hunter Community Alliance is a broad-based collaboration and is inclusive of community, environmental, ethnic and cultural groups, unions, and religious organisations. Its purpose is to build the power and influence of community organisations that share similar values and motivations.

The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is a member organisation and leaders from our local communities have the opportunity to participate in the two-day training to learn the basics of community organising and growing their own leadership potential.
