As we are all well aware, the spread of the COVID-19 virus continues across Australia and the time has arrived where our Government and health authorities have asked for a more stringent approach to slow the spread of the virus across our community. Co-operating with our Government authorities will, unfortunately, have a drastic impact on the life of the Church, forcing us to forego many things that are precious and integral to our worship and common life.

Diocese update on COVID-19
The Diocese continues to work with the relevant authorities to monitor and respond to developments of COVID-19. We are working to ensure we do everything we can to maintain the safety, health and wellbeing of all our people and our communities.
Australian Government sources provide balanced and verified information, we rely on NSW Health, Catholic Schools NSW and the Department of Education. We reference these sources and will remain aligned to their guidance and advice.
Prevention measures are in place and staff have been asked to implement containment strategies, including social distancing, as they go about their work. We understand this may directly impact on some of our services and we appreciate your understanding as we work through the situation together.
Our websites have the most up-to-date information and are being regularly updated as the situation evolves. For information, please go to:
We recognise these are unsettling times and are here to support our communities as we navigate them together.
