Catholic Mission Donations

There are many opportunities to help us achieve our vision of 'life for all'.

Single donation

  • Non-specific donation, where your gift can be used towards any or all of our works
  • Specific donation supporting one of the areas of work - eg Children’s Mission.

Regular giving

Join "Friends in Faith"

Donate regularly to Catholic Mission's work of spreading the Gospel in developing countries throughout the world and in remote dioceses in Australia by supporting the Society of the Propagation of the Faith. Your funds assist with the building of chapels, worship centres, multi-purpose centres, resource materials for churches and catechists, catechist training and support, transport costs for bishops and priests to visit their communities.

Become a part of "Leaders for Life"

Give regularly to Catholic Mission's work of educating priests, religious and catechists by supporting the Society of St Peter Apostle.  These donations provide funding to maintain training facilities for religious, as well as provide for student needs including food, accommodation and personal items, resources, study materials and general operational costs of seminaries and convents.

Become a Children's Mission Partner

From $20 a month your partnership can help children and their communities build their own brighter, fairer future. These donations assist with the provision of food programs, accommodation, medical services and supplies, school fees, school resources, payment of teacher fees, building schools and refuges, water programs, treatment and appliances for impaired children, rehabilitation program for victims of oppression and child abduction and programs for street kids.

Perpetual Burse Fund

Individuals, groups or parishes can establish a Perpetual Burse with a gift of $10,000 either paid in a lump sum or $2,000 over five years. This can be directed to any of the areas of work of Catholic Mission.

Make a bequest

Make a bequest and become a member of the Fellowship of St Therese of Lisieux.

Remembering Catholic Mission in your will provides an enduring legacy which will support children, religious or church communities well into the future according to your preferred area of support. These generous gifts which effectively represent your desire to share your life's rewards, in many cases, are life-giving and so could be a gift that lasts another lifetime. In cases where it impacts upon the community, it could well last forever.

Seminarian supporters program

You can help provide for a seminarian overseas by contributing $1500 each year. Supporters may choose to correspond with the seminarian they support. This is a very specific form of donation which ensures the sustainability of seminaries by offsetting the costs of educating and accommodating young future church leaders.
