Diocese provides counselling support to those affected by Bali bombings
As Newcastle and Hunter communities continue to grapple with the realities of last weekend's Bali Bombings, the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle has established a freecall telephone support line.

According to Teresa Brierley, Vice Chancellor, Pastoral Ministries for the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, "some people may need to be listened to by someone who is outside their immediate networks of family and friends. This support service will provide anyone in the community with a listening ear, guidance and referral".

In addition to the counselling service the diocese will work to ensure that school and parish communities are supported as they come to terms with this tragedy and the suffering that accompanies it.

The toll free support line number is 1800 234 050.
