CCA Inviting Tenders for St Catherine of
Siena Property
Catholic Care of the Aged is inviting public tenders for the long
term lease of St Catherine of Siena Property at Waratah.
The property
has been well maintained and would be suitable for a range of
educational, accommodation or health care uses.
The St Catherine
of Siena building has three storeys and is quite a landmark in
the local community. It has a long history of usage including
special education, convent and nursing home uses.
It's most
recent usage concluded in late 2001 with the closure of St Catherine
of Siena Nursing Home.
Mr Ralph Watson,
Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Care of the Aged, said "the
property offers some unique advantages for an organisation able
to make use of the current layout which includes kitchen, laundry,
dining, lounge, bedroom and ablution areas".
Colin Chapman
Real Estate are assisting Catholic Care of the Aged in the tendering
process. Tenders will close on Tuesday, 8 October 2002.
