Officer to Begin Work in Windale Tomorrow
Tomorrow, the Two Bishops Trust will proudly commission Mr David Baker as an Employment and Business Development Officer in Windale.

David's role will involve the generation and building of employment and business opportunities for the Windale community. His extensive background in vocational training for the long-term unemployed and his business management experience are valuable assets to the Windale community.

"I look forward to working with the people of Windale to create and sustain employment. One of our most exciting initiatives is a commitment from, and partnership with, the Department of Housing. The department offer maintenance and other work to their tenants," David said.

David will also provide advice and assistance for people in the setting up and running of small and home businesses.

Catholic Bishop Michael Malone believes David will have a vital presence in a community which has felt the effects of long-term unemployment.

"Unfortunately the Two Bishops Trust can offer no magic solutions. But we're really pleased to be part of the generation and building of employment and business opportunities for the people of Windale. Windale has a strong community spirit, and it's wonderful to be able to work with the community to strengthen that spirit".
