On the agenda to discuss was the pilot of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across the Newcastle region, and upcoming rollout through Lake Macquarie and Maitland areas.

Acting Director of CatholicCare, Kathryn Puckeridge said NDIS is a matter of importance for all of the community:

“At CatholicCare we aim to provide the very best services to the community under the new NDIS model. On behalf of the business, I am glad we have the opportunity to provide feedback on our experiences to date and also to pass on some of the community feedback we have received.” Mrs Puckeridge said.
