Having a Cessnock Ball

Having a Cessnock Ball

Debutantes, their partners, family and friends enjoyed a glamorous evening at the 83rd Cessnock Parish Ball. In recent years the Ball has been held at the Hunter Valley Crowne Plaza and chair of the Ball Committee, Evelyn Parkinson, said that “This has taken the ball to a whole new level.” The committee members worked hard to plan and promote the Ball, including pre-Ball fundraising, and their efforts were rewarded with a very profitable outcome. Funds raised will be used to cover a  recently purchased kitchen at St Joseph's Church.  This will make catering for Church functions much easier and facilitate community building occasions.

Any young ladies in Years 10, 11 or 12 or aged 16 years or over wishing to make their debut in 2014 should contact Evelyn Parkinson, 0431 569 547.
