CatholicCare Taree helps REPAIR early trauma

CatholicCare Taree and Family Law Pathways Network were pleased to be able to bring Grant Sinnamon to the Lower Mid North Coast region on Monday the 6th of May.

CatholicCare Taree helps REPAIR early trauma

Mr Sinnamon founded the REPAIR program, which is a six step set of intervention and practice guidelines for people working with traumatized children and adult survivors of early life stressors (ELS). Over a full day workshop in Taree participants absorbed, learnt and gleaned tools in with which to help in their work.

The workshop attracted participants from a vast background of community service, educational, counselling, child safety and family workers within the region. The day was a huge success  and we hope to bring Mr Sinnamon back to the region soon! One participant quoted that it was “the best training I have ever been too”.
