AUDIO: Aaron Kearney and Bishop Bill on the Vatican's "Catholic questionnaire"

On Thursday 14 November, Bishop Bill Wright appeared on Aaron Kearney's Breakfast program, broadcast on 1233 ABC Radio, Newcastle.

Bishop Bill and Aaron spoke about the recent invitation from Pope Francis to all Catholics to participate in a questionnaire on the many challenges facing the family today.

Bishop Bill said the survey, which is in preparation for an Extraordinary Synod in Rome in October 2014, gives Catholics the opportunity to address what Aaron dubbed a "dogmatic disconnect".

Bishop Bill said he expected many Hunter Catholics would "point to the pain of people [who are] excluded from things, they will talk about the position of women in the Church".

You can listen to the complete audio of the interview with Aaron below or read a letter from Bishop Bill regarding the invitation.
