I had heard Fr Rob Galea’s version of this on Sunday at the formation session for World Youth Day pilgrims. The words, ‘For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world’, were the last thing I remember before falling asleep.

From Monday 6 – Monday 13 June, Fr Kevin Corrigan completed a pilgrimage from Mary McKillop Place in North Sydney to Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newcastle. The idea behind this pilgrimage was to raise awareness and funds for the project called “Home for Small Children” in Cambodia.

Bishop of Maitland-Newcastle, Bill Wright, officially opened St Nicholas Early Education, Newcastle West on 15 June 2016. The Newcastle West site is the second for the diocese under the St Nicholas name, following the Singleton centre's opening in May.
