- Catholic Conference for Religious Education in Schools (CCRESS)
CCRESS is a Catholic state representative body that meets twice each year to share ideas, concerns, information, resources and support for Catholic SRE teachers.
Diocesan training is based on CCRESS guidelines.
The NSW Bishop's Representative on CCRESS relays concerns and issues relating to State School SRE to the NSW Bishops Conference.
- National Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (NCCD)
NCCD is a national Catholic representative body that meets to share national concerns and offer support and formation for those involved in leadership positions of State School Religious Education in Australia.
- Committee for Christian Religious Education in Schools: Support and Training - Hunter Region (CCRESST)
CCRESST
is a representative committee that meets to discuss issues relating to SRE in the Newcastle, Hunter and Manning regions.
The Committee offers support for SRE teachers and organises joint-denominational training and in-service days.
Most modules from CCRESST can be cross-credited towards Diocesan accreditation.

- Inter-Church Commission on Religious Education in Schools NSW Inc (ICCOREIS)
ICCOREIS is an interdenominational representative body that meets each month to discuss issues relating to SRE in NSW.
Churches work together to support the spiritual, pastoral and religious needs of students in the government schools of NSW.
A sub-committee of ICCOREIS meets with the Director General. There are four Catholic representatives on ICCOREIS.
