Redemptoristine Nuns (OSsR)

Founded by Ven Maria Celeste Crostarosa and St Alphonsus Ligouri in 1731 at Scala Italy, the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer or the Redemptoristines were introduced to Australia by Bishop John Toohey in 1965 in the Diocese of Maitland from Canada. Retreat units are available for quiet reflective days of prayer or retreat for individuals or groups.
