Little Company of Mary (LCM)

Mary Potter commenced the Order of the Little Company of Mary on 2nd July 1877 in Nottingham, England. The Little Company of Mary were founded to care for the sick and dying. In 1887 they came to Lewisham, Sydney. In 2003 they arrived in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. They see it as a new venture, "sowing the seed".
