Catholic Care
of the Aged Advisory Board
The role of the board
is to advise the bishop regarding Catholic Care of the Aged and
the needs of the aged in respect of the following matters:
• the mission, vision and values
of Catholic Care of the Aged;
• the overall direction of future
developments;
• the overall performance of Catholic
Care of the Aged;
• the quality of services provided;
• major policy matters; and
• financial performance.
The board and its members are appointed
by the bishop and include:
• Mr Joseph McCarthy (Chief Executive Officer)
• Dr John Duggan (Diocesan Pastoral Council Representative)
• Ms Helen Belcher (Community Representative)
• Ms Anne Chadwick (Diocesan Finance Council Representative)
• Dr Isabel Higgins (Community Representative)
• Mr Gerard Mowbray (Community Representative)
• Mr Paul Crosbie (Community Representative)
• Mrs Margaret Thompson (Community Representative)
